"Deshou Silk: The Origins of the Great Tang"

The trailer for the intangible cultural heritage animation drama tells the moving story of a woman, Cui Su'an, crossing the vast Gobi Desert to deliver a bowl of noodles. As boiling water surges, the silver-thread noodles are put into the pot; a bowl of noodles moves the soldiers, and an imperial edict bestows the name "Deshou Silk." But for Cui Su'an, noodles are just noodles. The Silk Road stretches on, camel bells ring softly, a strand of noodle turns into a golden thread running across the Western Regions; using noodles as a medium, it connects tales of the Western Regions, leaving a thought-provoking question at the end of the story.
