Work description
1. Highlights
This work is an AIGC ancient-style 3D Chinese animation short drama. Through an ancient wedding narrative, character emotional performances, action shots, ancient-style architecture, nighttime atmosphere, and fantasy visual effects, it delivers a Chinese animation short drama with cinematic quality and serial narrative emotional depth.
The focus is not simply on showcasing individual AI shots, but on fully demonstrating consistent character stability, unified costumes and scenes, emotional performances, action transitions, camera choreography, and narrative pacing control. To address common AI video issues such as face morphing, costume drift, scene jumps, unnatural limbs, and discontinuity between consecutive shots, it uses upfront character assetization and standardized storyboarding to ensure that different shots maintain a unified visual style and clear character recognition.
2. Production Approach
It uses a complete AIGC film production workflow: “script breakdown + character assets + scene assets + director’s storyboards + AI image generation + AI video generation + post-production finishing”.
First, the plot, character relationships, and visual style are analyzed, and asset packages are established for the main characters’ finalized looks, costumes, hairstyles, scenes, and key props. Then the series is broken down by episode and director’s storyboards are created, planning shot size, character action, emotion, camera position, camera movement, and shot transitions for each shot. High-quality keyframes are produced using AI image models, and then video generation models are used to bring out action and camera dynamics. Finally, editing, color grading, dubbing, music, sound effects, subtitles, and final packaging are completed in an integrated post-production pass.
This workflow is suitable not only for a single video, but also for batch production of serialized short dramas with 20, 40, or more episodes.
3. Applicable Scenarios
It is suited to ancient-style 3D animation short dramas, fantasy and xianxia, period romance, web-novel IP adaptations, AI comics, motion comics, novel-to-screen adaptations, game story promotions, Chinese-style cultural tourism campaigns, brand Chinese-style short films, and commercial AIGC videos.
When a client provides a novel, script, or creative idea, our team can deliver one-stop production from preliminary visual design to the final film.
4. Core Selling Points
The core strengths of this work include: consistent characters across episodes, asset-based character management, cinematic director’s storyboards, ancient-style 3D visuals, emotional and action control, multi-scene continuous storytelling, and full-series batch production capability.
Instead of relying on gacha-style random AI video generation, we manage characters, scenes, costumes, props, and camera work according to filmmaking logic, which effectively improves the stability and overall completion quality of long-form projects.
5. Production Workflow
Script analysis → character relationship mapping → character finalization → costume/scene/prop assets → director’s storyboards → AI keyframes → AI video generation → character and camera consistency correction → dubbing and music → editing and color grading → sound effects and subtitles → full-film QC → final delivery.
6. Technology Stack
Large language models such as GPT, DeepSeek, and Doubao are used for script analysis, content planning, storyboard design, and prompt generation workflows.
Image generation uses models such as Jimeng, Nano Banana, and Image 2.0 to create character, costume, scene, and shot keyframes.
Video dynamics primarily use Jimeng Seedance 2.0 to produce character motion, emotional performance, camera movement, and environmental dynamics.
Post-production uses CapCut Pro to complete editing, color grading, dubbing, music, sound effects, subtitles, and final packaging.
7. Delivery Formats and Reusability
Final videos are delivered in MP4 format at 720p, 1080p, 2K, or 4K, and can be produced as 16:9 horizontal, 9:16 vertical, subtitled, unsubtitled, dubbed, and platform-specific versions.
Characters, costumes, scenes, props, and storyboards can all be managed as reusable assets. When starting from a new novel or script, a new character and worldbuilding asset system can be established quickly and reused for series and batch projects, making the workflow well suited for long-term stable collaboration.
8. Reference Pricing for Equivalent Work
The reference price for the same grade of ancient-style 3D Chinese animation is RMB 400 per finished minute at 720p.
The exact price is determined according to the final video resolution, production timeline, and the client’s other detailed delivery requirements. Projects with 30–40 episodes and long-term batch orders can be quoted by the full series, allowing for greater pricing flexibility.
